2. Весна красна квітами, а осінь — плодами.

Spring is beautiful with flowers, but autumn with fruits.

3. Курчат восени лічать.

5. Восени і горобець багатий.

In autumn, even a sparrow is rich.

The proverb says that in autumn food is abundant for everyone, even the smallest bird. It reflects the generosity of nature during harvest time.

6. Осінь збирає, а весна з'їдає.

Autumn gathers, and spring eats.

This means that all supplies are collected in autumn, but by spring they are usually consumed. It’s a reminder about the cycle of scarcity and abundance.

7. У доброго хазяїна восени й соломина не пропаде.

For a good master, even a straw won’t go to waste in autumn.

It shows that a wise and diligent person makes use of everything, even the smallest resource, especially in autumn when it’s time to prepare for winter.
